Can you make my slides look better?
|
Absolutely! This is where your pictures will really benefit from our
professional photographers and artists.
We do manual color and exposure correction to each individual image. Using
Adobe Photoshop, we can do a lot to improve color problems and fading.

Can you scan glass mounted slides?
|
For slides in 2"x2" glass mounts, we recommend removing the film from the glass mount and remounting it in a
cardboard or plastic slide mount for the best quality image. If your slides are 35mm slides we offer the service of
removing the film from the glass and remounting it into cardboard mounts. The charge to remove and remount each slide is just $1.25.

What can I ship my slides in?
|
You can send your slides to us in Carousels, Slide Trays, Slide Boxes,
Slide Preserver sleeves, anything that will keep your slides organized and
protected during shipment. See our shipping
tips.
You can place your slides in handi-wrap or Reynolds wrap boxes, they are a
perfect fit for slides. You can indicate the beginnings of slide groupings by using mini post-it notes to label the start of a group. To
maintain our low pricing please try to keep your groups to at least 30 photos.
For groups that are consistently below 30 we charge a handling fee of $1.99 per
small group. We will
return your slides in the original packaging or organized in one of the
archival
storage products we offer on our site.
Airequipt Trays: (a type of tray that requires each individual
slide be in a removable metal sleeve) If your slides are in these metal sleeves,
please remove the slide from the metal sleeves before sending them in.
Otherwise, we will remove the slides from the sleeves for you. We simply
charge a $0.10/slide fee for this and we do not return the slides to the metal
sleeves.
